Is custom jewellery just for the rich and famous?
People have two initial reactions when they find out that I am a custom jeweller. Reaction 1; Wow that sounds interesting. Reaction 2; Shock that I am not dripping in diamonds. I am kidding of course. But, truly I preach this every day and have for over the last decade. Anyone can afford a custom piece of jewellery. There I said it. Cat is out of the bag. Custom jewellery is not just for the ultra-rich and famous every can have a piece that is just for them.
Yes, everyone can and should have a custom piece of jewellery.
In fact, I would go as far as to say that if you are making a timestone piece, you are actually being economical making it custom. I have been a jeweller for a very long time. There are times when I have to tell clients that fixing what they have into what they want is not possible. It is always best to make an item in the proper size, to begin with. (Lots of details here, another blog for that) Truly, for the nominal price difference putting your engagement ring together yourself in perfect form is a fabulous investment.
There is also the comfort in knowing that your piece was made by someone you can call, like me. I take my art very seriously and very personally. The very last thing I want is someone who has a diamond that doesn’t sparkle. I can’t even imagine that! Let alone imagine a client who isn’t thrilled with a piece IU help them with. Like gemstones and mined diamonds we as people are all unique and have unique visions for our jewellery, it doesn’t have to be complicated, it just has to be perfect for you.

A. This depends on how many versions of the design we go through. I would venture to say the difference between myself and my clients is in the ring of $500 or less.
Q. How long does it take to custom make an engagement ring?
A. If all the chips fall into place 4 weeks is an average timeline.
Q. How do I know if I will like my item?
A. We make it visually in CAD form first then, I provide you with an actual wax version of your exact piece so you can try it on! No negative surprises ever!
